As a lifelong resident of Morton Grove, I have always held a deep commitment to our community and its well-being. Throughout my tenure as Trustee, I have consistently demonstrated my dedication to being a team player and a hard worker, always striving to serve the best interests of our residents. I actively seek input from residents, ensuring that their voices are heard and their concerns are addressed. Advocating for resident issues is a priority for me, especially when it leads to positive change that benefits everyone.

As a member of the current Village Board, I am proud of the positive impact we have made together. We have worked collaboratively to fulfill the visions of Mayor DiMaria, align with our Board goals, and, with the support of our incredible staff, we are making significant progress toward accomplishing the objectives set forth in our Strategic Plan. This Village Board is truly a team that gets things done.

In my role as the Trustee Liaison to the Community Relations Commission, I have been instrumental in its growth, fostering increased community engagement while promoting self-expression through a variety of programs. My unwavering commitment to inclusion within the Village at all levels ensures that all resident populations feel represented and valued in our community.

Positively impacting the community has always been a core focus of my work. Whether it’s through advancing policies that benefit our residents or supporting initiatives that enhance our quality of life, I believe that our actions as a Village Board should always aim to strengthen the fabric of Morton Grove.

Looking forward, I am particularly focused on continuing to build and improve our infrastructure. Our roads, utilities, and public spaces are the backbone of our community, and it’s crucial that we maintain and develop them to meet the needs of our growing population. Alongside infrastructure development, maintaining prudent fiscal management is key. We must ensure that our budget reflects the priorities of our residents, while also being careful stewards of taxpayer dollars.

Maintaining excellent village services is another priority that I am deeply committed to. Whether it’s our public safety, public works, or senior services, our residents deserve the highest standard of service. By staying transparent in all we do, we build trust and foster a sense of partnership between the Village Board and the community.

In addition to my responsibilities as Trustee, I have consistently attended community events, not only as a representative of the Village Board but also as an engaged resident who values the connections within our community. I take pride in volunteering whenever possible, reinforcing my belief that leadership is not just about making decisions but also about being actively involved and accessible to the people we serve.

Looking ahead, I am eager to continue working with my colleagues to address the challenges and opportunities that lie before us. Whether it’s enhancing our infrastructure, supporting local businesses, or ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, I am committed to building on our successes and pushing for further progress.
